Today is our four-year wedding anniversary! I had planned to continue my tradition of sharing favorite memories/funny anecdotes from our relationship (see: year one, year two and year three) — but if you’ve noticed, I haven’t been writing a lot lately and I didn’t get my act together early enough to think of something clever.

Kail and I celebrate our two-year anniversary today. Last year I shared the story of one of my favorite memories of our courtship, so I thought I would do the same this year. Kail actually asked me to marry him before we even started “officially” dating.

I finally finished our wedding scrapbook! (It has been on my to-do list for a while.) I’m neither crafty nor artistic, so I consider this to be quite an accomplishment.

In the days immediately following our April wedding, my husband and I indulged in romantic candlelit meals, side-by-side massages and nighttime strolls by the water. But we weren’t on a typical all-inclusive getaway of a honeymoon. We weren’t even in a different state.
