Grey reef shark.Kail and I did 10 dives on our recent RRB in the Maldives. We spent a total of seven hours and 59 minutes underwater. Less than a year after receiving our PADI Open Water Diver certification (and about seven months after obtaining our Advanced Open Water Diver certification), we’ve completed 28 dives.

Memorial Day Weekend in Roatán
Paraíso.Kail and I spent Memorial Day weekend in paradise, also known as Roatán, Honduras. Because why wouldn’t we go on vacation a week before we’re scheduled to depart El Salvador? We had already visited one of Honduras’s Bay Islands, Utila, a couple weeks before, and I was excited to see what Roatán has to offer. The answer: A lot.

It’s always hard to pick favorites when it comes to vacations. But I can say that one of the highlights from our trip to Hawaii was snorkeling for the first — and second! — times.
