Last summer, Kail, Piopio, and I moved to our fourth overseas post (technically Piopio’s second): Frankfurt, Germany.
Our virtual apartment tour comes to an end with a look at our final room: the master bedroom. By far the biggest highlight of our stuff arriving was having our own bed — especially our super-comfy pillow-top mattress.
I really love my home office. After a year of working from a desk that shared space with our living room and dining room, it’s nice to have my own space again.
Today on my virtual apartment tour we’re taking a look at our guest bedroom. It’s fitting because this week we’re hosting our first visitor to Amman: our friend Lisa, whom we met in Afghanistan.
You’ve seen our living room, dining room and kitchen. Now I’m taking you into the “informal” part of the house, starting with our family room (TV room).

We are 100 percent moved in. Our Kabul HHE, San Salvador/storage HHE and Virginia UAB shipments arrived, along with our car. All 101 boxes totaling 4,230 pounds are unpacked. Our clothes and linens are dry-cleaned, our photos are displayed and our artwork is hanging on the walls.
